This year’s Oscar’s were filled with fashion risks that really paid off. The A-list celebs really went for it this red-carpet season, and it made for an award-winning display of haute couture looks. If you’re gonna pull out all the stops for any awards show, it better be for The Academy Awards.

Firstly, we are OBSESSED with Laura Harrier’s powder blue gown is drop dead gorgeous. The BlacKkKlansman and Spider Man: Homecoming star is literally shining in this bejeweled Louis Vuitton dress. We want more of this color in our wardrobe and we want it now.

I mean, ASTRID, am I right?! Crazy Rich Asians’ Gemma Chan looked more than just pretty in pink at last night’s Academy Awards. Her fuchsia ensemble wowed us beyond belief – her elegance was on another level.

Billy Porter stopped traffic in this custom part tuxedo part gown by Christian Siriano. He transcended all traditional red-carpet norms – and did so FABULOUSLY. His take on a look that falls somewhere between masculine and feminine awed us, and we can’t wait to see what fashion statements he continues to make on future red carpets.

The Captian dazzled us with her head-to-toe old Hollywood glamour look. From the dramatic chic silhouette of her gown, to her loose wavesshe maintained the show stopping style worthy of our fearless leader.

Forever girl crush and last year’s Best Supporting Actress, Alison Janney never. ever ceases to meet our expectations. The woman is a goddess.

Okay, we can’t stop.

Let’s talk about Best Supporting Actress Winner: REGINA KING.

Are there words? We’re not sure. The dress. The hair. EVERYTHING.

Last, but most certainly not least, is Amandla Stenberg who absolutely stole the show in a Great Gatsby inspired look. At 20 years old, she is the youngest person in history to present the award for Best Picture, but her look certainly lived up to this honor. She truly sparkled in this metallic and nude ensemble; we just cannot get enough of it!
